Hi guys, just wondering if anyone still does hunting parties to Caithness? Went there about 20 years ago and have never seen so many rabbits, was worth the expence for the experience, Barney

my mate lives there and lots of lads still go up and then get caught by the local police,some parts of scotland are sh*t hot on poaching and can be difficult to obtain any permission,stranger's stick out like a sore thumb up north,their poacher watch scheme is red hot,atb,wirralman

Frank.I SPENT A LOT OF TIME UP THERE IN THE EARLY 90,s.THERE WERE FAR RABBITS 2 BE FOUND IN THE SUTHERLAND AREA. ALL THE WAY DOWN 2 THE DORNOCH WAY. THERE WERE AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF RABBITS IN THAT AREA BACK THEN.

my old bitch is decended from one of his dogs a lad brought down in the early 90s of him [bANNED TEXT] its offspring were bred to saluki types they produced some tidy dogs one even drew in a competition to see wich dog would run in the 2000 forley and the lad let the other dog through due to the amount of money he had paid for the bitch.

hello mate tommy is a good friend of mine i sold tommy apup of my old bitch she was afast bitch i had tommy and his mate down from caithness to port glasgow for a days running just to see the mother run she would of been 4+minus towes got afew that day she was bread G/W/S and put her to a collie tommy said he worked the dog and sold it to some boys down south it probly one of my pups will have to ask him some time he is still at the collies .

They called the lad toney from s.yorkshire he bought a small sandy couloured bitch called lill i am not sure if it was out of a bich called ruby.Theirs a picture of tommy in a booklet called lurcher the journal of running dogs vol 2 1989 with the same type of dog my mate got of him a sandy couloured whippet type.atvb dell
