Frank.I SPENT A LOT OF TIME UP THERE IN THE EARLY 90,s.THERE WERE FAR RABBITS 2 BE FOUND IN THE SUTHERLAND AREA. ALL THE WAY DOWN 2 THE DORNOCH WAY. poacher3161 1,766 Posted March 26, 2010 Report Share Posted March 26, 2010 my old bitch is decended from one of his dogs a lad brought down in the early 90s of him [bANNED TEXT] its offspring were bred to saluki types they produced some tidy dogs one even drew in a competition to see wich dog would run in the 2000 forley and the lad let the other dog through due to the amount of money he had paid for the bitch. They called the lad toney from s.yorkshire he bought a small sandy couloured bitch called lill i am not sure if it was out of a bich called ruby.Theirs a picture of tommy in a booklet called lurcher the journal of running dogs vol 2 1989 with the same type of dog my mate got of him a sandy couloured whippet type.atvb dell Quote Link to post
