I recall meeting mr.nuttall on a mink hunt on the ribble over 20 years ago, his dogs that day were very small black smooth coated fell terriers

however he also put out dogs with a very respected local terrier man, these were very different to the dogs i saw on the mink hunt, they were much more suitable for a days digging and could be very hard on foxes.

some of the best dogs were undershot but had excellent nose and were as game as they come.

never mined listening to half the tossers on here , speak to brian hiself ill pm you his number , as mentioned most yards have dogs in them with nutttal blood somewhere along the line, i like brian ive always found him to be honest and straight with me even though i don t have any of his dogs there two small for me he knows my view and we agree to dis agree, atb top
