average in one night?

just wondering really how many rabbits do you lot get in one night of lamping. were i live we get at tops 6 a night mostly due to having no permission :11: i no its not a massive bag but there is not alot of rabbits down this way unlike some of the numbers you have on here. but its the sport that counts i have read posts on here and people have took 20+ rabbits a night i would struggle to get that in a week ferreting and going on the lamp every night

thats good going i reckon,we sum times struggle to get that mate,but where we go is short grass,and they are not easy,we do alot better ferreting,but i just like seeing the dogs out diong what they love,numbers matters not to me.

Same here, we sometimes come home with nothing, better than sitting in the house all night though, we had more luck in the day with munty and roe before the ban :whistle:

6 on foot sounds about right for me too... a really good night was 14 but that was travelling around the back roads from a car and slipping her out the boot

Same here. Got 1 out of 1 tonight.

 

 

 

I usually get anything between 0 and 4 so my average would be 2. The nights out we get big numbers i dont count because they are on invite out and not the norm in a week.
