longdog13 36
Well, i received a call today from a land owner today that was given my contact details, The lady on the end of the phone tels me rabbits are destroying her garden and surrounding land, upon asking if it was a particularly large population, she replied that there were literally hundreds and hundreds of them now, having heard this reply time and again i asked her just how much land we were talking about, "oh" she said, "about a hundred acres or so" Result So we arranged for me to have a visit after the easter weekend when she gets back from a short break, so, fingers crossed i should have some more pest control for the summer months, and if i work it right there will be plenty left for the season proper I figure sorting the gardens out first will cheer her up no end I'll see if i can sort out some pics on my first recce visit Quote Link to post
kill um with crisps 7
I had a call like that recently. Little old lady told me she was "inundated" with rabbits. Luckily when she asked for a quote i said lets see the place before i give a quote. Well i got there expecting to see a re-enactment of watership down but didnt see any. The lady showed me round and i got my .22 out and sat in a likely looking patch. I waited most of the day and shot 2 rabbits. I was doing it for the pleasure of being there so it was ok but if i wanted to make money out of it i would of had to charge by the hour, not by the rabbit! Lol! Quote Link to post
