collie/grey 238
My bitch broke her toe last december, she couldn't run again for 10 weeks. Another 2 weeks no running at least, road walking on a lead will be fine. Quote Link to post

budgie123 163
My friends dog has just broke a front toe.He has taken it to a greyhound vet who has adviced 6 weeks rest minimum. If after rest the dog is still lame she will remove the toe. Quote Link to post
collie/grey 238
There will be no need to remove the toe after 6 weeks as by then it will have almost healed up, i found that 8 - 10 weeks rest proved to be the best move with my bitch and after that you wouldn't know she had a broken toe. That was an outside toe on her back foot, the previous year she did the same to her front foot middle toe. Quote Link to post
