GetOnitSkinDown 5
just wondering, as i'm relatively new to snaring, can you set snares in/out of rabbit holes? i watched old ways of the poacher and he showed snares being set inside rabbit holes and he got a few that way? but i've been told by other people not to set in/out of any rabbit holes, just runs. any ideas? cheers Bill. Quote Link to post
ratattack 111
You could but won't catch many, they should be set on runs as the rabbits are moving faster on the runs. They are more cautious when going in/out holes or through fences unless being chased etc. Edited March 22, 2010 by ratattack Quote Link to post

ellir0305 9
no, fences snares are very useful as they are out in the run where rabbits are less cautious. have you read the G.S.Waters pinned articles about rabbit snaring? if not read them they are great. atb rob Quote Link to post
