Hi there just wondering if any of you guys have a preference for lamp lens colours when you are out lamping thanks for looking

i have amber on mine for foxing. if the rabbits are abit spooky i use the red filter

at the start off year (sept) ill use white light for cubs then when they get spooked ill move to red amber one atb

I just use red but it does cut downn the beam a lot, i think that why people like amber.

I've tried most over the years and settled on red (IF I needed to use one at all), lost it about 3 years ago, well p****d off at the time and had to make more use of the dimmer switch,...thats the way to go, never bother with the filters anymore, dimmer works as well as anything for me, better in many applications.

A dimmer is more usefull than a filter.

I prefer amber to red.

Use whatever works. Just ring the changes with colours, times etc. Most will trip up sooner or later.
