jezza 126
A beddy x is never going to "SMASH" big stuff or at least not as easily as a bull x or a bigger type of dog. But lets use a bit common sense here, if you want to go out "SMASHING" Dont get a beddy x, pretty simple really. If you are keeping it legal then a wee beddy x is great for ferreting, marking, daytime mooching and lamping on the rabbits. My little bitch has, as i've said, been a bit of an awkward twat, but we've had some great nights lamping and brilliant days ferreting. Had loads f rats and tree rats with her. Horses for courses lads. couldnt agree more!!!!! Quote Link to post
samstorm 34
Ive got one here. 2nd gen halfx hes fast as fook. Where you get that there slow from beats me. He is used on the lamp to great effect. Has bags of stamina. Hes only 20 month or so and is a cracker. Will jump anything I tell him to. Will take anything I slip him on. This little dog feeds hiself. Works well early morning by the woods aswell if you get me. I nearly gave him away the other day and when the lad came for him I couldnt do it. This dog will be with me for life even if I stopped hunting (i never will) I would keep hoim by my side. The heart of a lion is right. Yes he is head strong atn times. But hes coming together now. Like I said wouldnt swap mine for the world. Does too much for me. Im not a numbers man but when I want to go home and hen dosent he s a right stroppy git. Does every quarry you can eat. And is starting to take a likeing to the reds aswell. If you want one mate go for it. Its your choice. I always imagined a beddy/whippet as a 18 inch dog that lookd like shit. Mines 22tts mate and is a longhaired lover lol. Atb samstorm Quote Link to post

Malt 379
Mines 22tts mate and is a longhaired lover lol. Atb samstorm It's a common misconception that they all end up somewhere between a whippet and a terrier in height, mine's 22" as well. Quote Link to post

Used to drive me dull, but now I know he stops after he catches the first one. Dull as f**k about the house though.. Quote Link to post
