2 hours on the lamp

Recommended Posts

Went out for a little look on the lamp and to see how Bruce would do after his accident with a wire fence. First slip resulted in a few twists and turns but a catch at the end, the retrieve left a bit to be desired, but i was hoping this was down to the added excitement of not being out for weeks. The next 2 came in with the retrieves only to about 10 feet and then the next 4 delivered to my feet. Now this is where he missed his first one which i think was down to my poor slip and as it went over the brow and turned out i failed to pick it back up on its way back, but he went onto bag the next 2 runs, before nicking his dew claw. As we where leaving the field one last shine produced a fox in the beam which would've been an ideal lesson for Bruce if we had an experienced dog to show him the way and of course if it was legal.... :11: ...... i would say this little fecker would be dead, but still better to get him entered right than put him off, a good night all the same, unlike the f*****g election......... :realmad:

Hi Longdogrunner,- good to see Bruce is getting on ok now after his leg injury. He seems a bloody good dog.

It is a very sad result today, with Labour getting back in. Our local Labour MP, had his majority reduced heavily,- the shit-head.

See you soon Longdogrunner.
