jasper65 6
Took a quick browse through the woods today! Sun was out so I thought why not... anyway I came across two Bunnies Virtually sitting together so I aimed at them and squeezed the trigger, to my surprise the Pellet went straight through one long ways and straight through the other long ways passed through a couple of silver birch trees nearly splitting them in two before finally coming to rest halfway through a trunk of a large Oak!! not bad for a .177 hey and a 8.6 Grain pellet ....... Just kidding guys so here's the truth.. walked into the edge of the woods to see a couple of Bugs Bunnies sheltering themselves under some conifer, one was shot about 30yds away only to see the other still sat there wondering what was wrong with his mate so I clocked him too. this one must have surely been on speed the way he flipped about! I thought he was going down his hole but nope he died .... also a few pictures of the last few Missions! Jasper Quote Link to post

jasper65 6
Cheers men I have to say you don't have to be a Marksman to tot up a large Kill ratio with these Pre Charged guns, I said it back in 98 when I had a Webley Axsor that it makes life alot easy when out Hunting. you had to shoot some of the old 12ft/lbs springers and shoot well! these things you can litteraly watch the pellet strike through the scope, its a Lethal method of Hunting bordering on total Carnage.... Hopefully the wife will buy me a Harris Bipod for my Birthday so I can lay over Bunny city around here and clean up, life will be made even more easier resting on a Bipod ........ zini 1,939
you don't have to be a Marksman to tot up a large Kill ratio with these Pre Charged guns Never a true-er word spoken mate . The good thing about them is that a in experienced shot can bag plenty of medium to long range bunnies with them easy enough. I still think that learning the hard way is the correct way. Alexisrouzee 6
you don't have to be a Marksman to tot up a large Kill ratio with these Pre Charged guns I still think that learning the hard way is the correct way. Si the modern guns are fantastic but i feel i think jasper and yourself are being a bit modest, in a good way, i believe that they are great guns and very accurate but experience and time with your rifle of choice to know its little ways and how it reacts after say 10 shots of say a s200 or a bit of a breeze or judging distances for hold over or under even maybe?? 37 meters with a 5-10 mph cross wind with a head shot? thats only my opinion tho and jasper your write up is ace and proven record on top shots zini.... well your get there one day....... only joking your dvd speak for themselves!! u and that r10 are are match made in heaven aye?? im still learning and hopefully one day will know pin point shooting for every situation, until that time i will only take shots withing my low level of compitence.... all the best guys lex Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Alex, I don’t know where that thread went after I put my bit above buddy, but what you said I was meaning with my point too mate. The hard way being learning on a springer and learning to shoot correctly before taking your new skill over to a PCP. If you go straight to a PCP you will bag plenty of vermin I think but can you really shoot a recoiling rifle? Regarding my DVDs pal, The vermin on them were shot by my stunt double Si Edited March 23, 2010 by zini Quote Link to post
