In my pockets an Opinel, insulation tape, spare slip which doubles as a game carrier and a head torch. In the van bottle of water, some non fizzy energy drink, first aid kit and latex gloves. Dog and lamp too!

Latex gloves??

Yep, my mate gave me a couple of big boxes of them at the beginning of the season. When paunching i wear a pair and stick the knife through the finger of another one. When your finished gloves off, clean hands and clean knife even the blade. Not really a necessity but bloody handy at the end of the night when your cold, tired and cant find a trough! Weigh next to nothing too
