laguna whippets

i just got a new whippet puppy (my first) and was told it was from laguna lines, is this a good line? atb tom.

i have a whippet pup on at the mo and he his keen he has got some dogs in his line i like them but like all breeds some people will like them some people wont like them but ye i love my whippet

im not sure what she (lola) is like yet as she is only seven weeks old, but looks nice (brown and white), the guy said laguna line has good workers and fast but wondered if anyone else has one or any experience with whippets from laguna lines

only ever seen one work its not very fast and it yaps like feck. im not saying they are all or most like that but the one ive seen is. but ive read on here that there are some good ones about so ime sure some one with a bit more info could tell you more. good luck with the pup and happy hunting

LAGUNA LINE WAS BRED BY A WOMAN CALLED DORRIT Mc KAY. CERTAINLY WAS THE BEST KNOWN COURSING LINE, WHERE THEY WERE RAN DOUBLED UP. OBVIOUSLY SINCE THE BAN THERE HAS BEEN NO ORGANISED COURSING BY KENNEL CLUB REGISTERD STOCK. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE 2 CHECK WITH THE BREEDER & THE KENNEL CLUB EASILY ENOUGH.

you get good and bad in any breeding, no matter how good the lines meant to be. personly i ve seen some cracking workers from laguna lines.

Never had a laguna whippet but i was always led to believe they were an excellent strain of working whippet. Enter it carefully and it should make a good worker.
