You're right, I followed Calzaghe's career, first time I seen him was against Delaney for the British title. I didn't believe he had what it takes to win the world title, until he put that great perfo

Mallignaggi is an awful fighter and a perfect example of how far a fighter can go just by virtue of having the right management/promotional team, and nothing to do with ability. Only 5 KOs/TKOs in 30 fights, with only one victory worth any mention (vs Diaz) to his credit. Its an easy fight for Khan no doubt about it, as Pauli has no punch power at all, and he is'nt going to out box Khan. I reckon Khan by TKO round 7/8. Cheers

not sure about them two but id love to see packman v mayweather jnr

Think that the fight everyone would love to see but personally a think mayweather will duck the packman :boxing:

I actually think mayweather would beat the pacman. Mayweathers defence and accuracy would outshine the pacman imo.

I really rate both of them the stamina, speed and coming forward style of pacman,The defence, accuracy and speed of mayweather but as much as i want pacman to win i think mayweather will be to much of a slick hitter,if you can't get near him you can't hit him and thats what mayweather's good at.Watch him destroy shane mosley in his next fight he's far to slick and clever for him.

Promoters are good at there job and pick the fights Hatton got nursed along look what happened when he fought someone who was in his prime, same with khan and mallignaggi when they fight world class fighter they come unstuck. Its funny how khan was never matched with mitchell when he was under frank warren but now he's with goldenboy promotions frank wants them to get it on.

Edited to say its all about the money and khan will win and lets hope he fights mitchell or even pacman next before he gets too old see what class he really is.

Kahn to win under 5 rounds, he's too powerful and too fast for Mallignaggi.

Why do i always hear when is he going to fight someone decent, like who?

Let me Guess, Mayweather or Pacio?

When did hatton fight and lose against them?

The Lad is only just 23yrs old, Already a world champion:toast:, But! he is still learning his trade, Give him 2 or 3 yrs and then he will be ready to take on that type of fighter, whether he would win is a different matter considering Mayweather is Arguably one of the best pound for pound fighters ever

So when people ask about him fighting someone "decent" who do you suggest he fights with about the same age and experience?.

:boxing:

Not saying he hasn't what i'm saying is they pick there fighters mitchell was never considered untill khan moved away from frank now frank wants it on,mitchell beat prestcott on points khan was spanked in a round or 50 odd seconds was it.Barrea came out of retirement to fight khan and it got stopped on a bad cut what was caused by a clash of heads thats the only reason he won the vacant title.Hatton looked good against kostya tszyu but hatton was 26-27 tszyu was 36 all i'm saying is they get hyped up for the big money fights.

Now theres a man who speaks sense.....boxing today is not about the best fighting the best, just ask ricky hatton !!....1 minute he is talking about a comeback, the next he thinks " none of the yanks are interested in me and the only half interesting fight is against khan who i have little chance against......actually folks ive talked it over with my family and its time to call it a day " ....thats the trouble when you get away with conning the public, you think you can do it forever !!

As for frank warren matching his 2 top prospects well thats just plain stupid what walk of life would any buiseness man risk his 2 biggest assets.....ive said before and i,ll say it again, frank warren has done more for british boxing than virtually any other man over the years and given the choice any promising young fighter would choose to be with him.

Being a local lad id like to see kevin mitchell do well but i just cant see him winning next time out, khan i think will wipe malignagi away but will more than likely be rushed into a fight thats too much for him and lose.....as halfinch says,he is a young lad they all come along at different rates unfortunately public pressure and $$ are cause for bad decisions these days i think he has already been rushed along too quickly.

Khan will stop Mallignaggi, Mallignaggi is a hand picked opponent who at one time was a capable boxer on the world scene but never really was worth the hype that had been built up behind him for the time he was being hyped up.

Now he's just a named boxer who can't punch that Khan will be able to take chances with.

I'd love to see Khan knocked flat for the full ten, but his speed strength and combination punching will see to it that Khan wins comfortably and with in the distance I think.
