HLF 0
I have a Maesydderwen dog, by Scimitar out of Rimfire Rita (owned by Peter Jones’ son). It is the most biddable and easily trained dog I have ever had, he isn’t perfect, but it makes life so much easier when most of the stuff you need is already in the dog. There have been discussions on this forum about this line being reluctant to leave the handler, I have not found this in any form and would suggest that this is the application of discipline training before the development of a hunting pattern or technique in the dog. Beg, borrow or steal the DVDs by David Lissett to get things right. Give Peter Jones a ring, he is a gentleman and will try his best to get you what you want. Quote Link to post

activeviii 8
My lad is from dando drewid and Maesydderwen, sorry bad spelling, he is very easy to train as some things, some times we think he has been here before in a previous life, there are the odd thing that makes his a pain in the bum as time but he is always keen to learn and always tries. the only regret i have was not buy two at the same time as he is a good looking lad. i just waiting for the next mating in order to get another but when that will be i dont know.
