ginger goatee 0
Dear all I am fairly new to powder shooting. I am an experienced angler and have always loved the countryside and it's bounties. One thing that fishing taught me was "leave only footprints". I can't believe how some don't even bother to pick up thier empty cartridges - whatever the calibre! from .22lr to shotguns. All over the place. In my opinion that just isn't right. apperknowle 3
I agree with you on that one. I work on a farm and found a couple disgarded in the middle of one of the sheep feilds for something to choke on. Come on Guy pick your empty's up please it's the least you can do for the landowners allowing you permission to shoot. Atb Martin Quote Link to post
mangy1983 51
Funny that this topic came up just now! Since I got my rim fire back a month ago I must have fired close to a 1000 rounds with it in our villages receding and at the beginning of this week myself and my girlfriend went out to pick up all the empty cases we could find. We collected quite a haul believe me but the funniest part was was when she went to put them into a recycling bin in the middle of the nearest town and the bag burst and 100's of spent cases went rolling on the ground! waidmann 105
definately no matter which side of the fence people walk only footprints and less fuzzy stuff should be left behind. waidmann Quote Link to post

Tiddler66 3
At the end of the day, most of us shoot on other peoples land ........... and regardless of whether we pay for that priverlidge or not, we are guests and should act accordingly........the thing that bugs me is the fact that many people still use plastic wads, rather than fibre..... RicW 67
But what if you get caught short at the rear end? Are you allowed to leave a big steaming smelly calling card? Or must you wrap it up, put it in your slipcase and take it home? I only ask because I'd like to know. Quote Link to post
