It's all about getting acriminal record mate, for those of us in jobs where we need a clean CRB report every year, it would mean losing an income if you get caught

As much as i love hunting, a criminal record would end my work prospects

I would carry on as in my mind my Father and Grand Father fought in two wars to defend freedom of speach and that means traditions as well. I went on the London March with the Countrysid Alliance and felt proud to be with like minded people. If all the shooters and fishermen 100% decided to decend on London and show Parliment what we think they would all hide.

nope end of, i dont think they will ever stop us ferreting. farmer as a whole have a lot of power when they want it and i dont think there will be one farmer that wants to pay someone to gas the rabbits every few months.

There's a lot of secluded land around, and I dont think the farmers would stop ferreters, purely because the cost of gassing would be Phenomenal. So I think I would just carry on doing my thing

I do believe it's illegal in the states but they have lots of pet ferrets. Does anyone know why its illegal there and when it became so?

It seems that the majority would carry on, good point about criminal records and jobs though. I suppose the farmers would still want us to carry on regardless, afterall its their income at stake. Its carry on all the way for me, guess we will just have to keep the faith and hope it never happens. They said that about hare coursing though, we were stopped last week by the law, someone had seen us ferreting a hedgerow on a roadside and thought we were coursing, I said to the old bill "what with terriers?" and he laughed.

you say they banned fox hunting when was this then its only banned if you let it be, fcuk them all i wouldn't stop ferreting just like i haven't stopped fox hunting.been bothered by police many times while foxing,justremember you can hunt 2 hounds and exercise 52.

I'd stop if it was against the law.

 

But the stopping would come with a hefty price. A vast line of snares would be put into place, mass amount of mk 6's would be set, and i'd be out shooting them every night.

 

What any anti needs to realise is that for all the harm any ferreter does, it could be done twice as harsh if ferreting was given the boot.

 

Most folks respect the quarry and protect it's intrests just for the sake of hunting it on it's own terms and giving it a chance.

 

Take that away and see how many rabbits you'll see around.

no way would i stop i understand some people dont like it and that some idiots that hunt dont do us any favours with there behavior but no one will stop me from hunting for food its our right as an a english anglo saxon warrior its in our blood and those liberial left wing twats can go fu** off. its about time the english and celts started standing up to be counted and take this country back and stand together and make as much noise as poss. and as for they wont ban it because it will ruin farming in the uk they have already fu**ed farming up in this country just like our commercial fishing they want us to be dependent on the EU. fight the system
