ye the scottish deerhound was a handy cross and well most things scottish were functional , ie bred to do ajob at one time , but alas times move on and other crosses come along we all had scotish deerhound crosses up untl the late eighties etc , it was agood video for its timebut there were alot more rabbits back then in places ,alot these guys from england would coome up to scotland to hunt rabbits , as there was plenty,a few other guys from down that way done well at the coursing to ,dont no were the scottish derhound willlll end up in america alive and kicking here just a whim of a once good dog

the 1st vid was lurchermania and the 2nd was lurchermania 2 when a cold wind blows.i saw axel run a few yrs ago onthe hares he was a good dog and quick,1stx deerhound greyhound.but thats yrs ago now the did make a ratting dvd i watched it in the lads flat who done them with a good friend of mine [spadge] and david street whos dog was the white 1 on there,good set of lads

looking back they were good vids and decent land ,not a rough coated lurcher fan even tho ive had afew , but good vidoes , got simliar vids but we just watch them with mates mostly ,bolting rabbs coursing etc , good crack some of the older vidoes ,

the lurcher mania films are different to the ones with flin on,the dusk till dawn films are done by jim i was in ashford with the man that helped him make them,he is out with us tonight,real good vids i thought,
