according to the Collins bird guide there are several self sustaining golden pheasant populations, mainly in SW Scotland, Anglesey and S & E England. I have not seen any myself but have seen plenty of semi wild park golden pheasant.

and do the goldens ever cross breed with the native phesants such as ringnecks etc?

I don't know, I should think they could but doubt they would in the wild. golden pheasant will easily breed the lady amherst pheasant, of which again according the bird guide have feral populations very locally in southern England.
