Any pest Species that is Caught Must be Humanely Destroyed.(Rat,Rabbit,Fox,Mink,Squirrel Etc)They Cannot be Released At All.

It is an offence to release certain 'alien' species (like North American Mink, Grey Squirrels etc) but it is NOT illegal to release pest species.

 

If you are so sure that it is, perhaps you would like to tell us all exactly what legislation it is that you are referring to?

not realy because youre not a true lurcher man ,so realy you want to stick to pestcontrol labs and terriers if thats what you like, me i hunt all sorts with dogs and travel far to do it all over and enjoy running dogs but like strait shooters who tell it how it is , not pretenders or people who have a dog as a pet,winter hunt summer fish and work , so what you say doesnt realy bother me ,beacause if you realuy walked the walk you would see my perspective from keen lurcher owners not just on acomputer ,you maybe be not a bad typer but ,im still hunting withdogs daily if i can and nitly when weather permits ,even tho the laws are a bit tie at times , were you have said you have gave the dogs up, so you dont even come into the eqaistion matt , if you had one afew copursing comps or hunting feild trails or took me out withyour dogs i maybe be a bit sort of botherd but not realy pal;

Whin, I can quite see what you mean, and understand that you want to promote 'fair play'.

 

The point I was trying to make was that you didn't help that cause by continuing to repeat the same thing over and over again and accusing people of being cheats and thieves made that worse.

 

I'm sure you are a genuine sportsman in every sense of the word, but why you think that because I no longer own a running dog I can't comment is beyond me.

 

I've got quite 'into' formula 1 in the last year, but I'll never own or race an F1 car. Does that mean that I shouldn't have an opinion on F1?

Got to agree with you.

 

Everyone has a right to an opinion, and some manage to express that better than others, but the lamping competition thread was getting so boring with the same crap being repeated badly over and over again, and some very nasty accusations being chucked around.

 

MtR I agree everyone is entitled to their opinion,whin asked questions of the lamping comp and IMHO if he had of got answers from the powers that be it could of been put to bed a damn sight quicker
