bird 9,943
Went out last night aswell, pup could have had about 6 or 7 (alot for here) but only slipped him on 2 well grown ones, the rest were way too small and sat out in the middle of the beam. He did well to get the one he did, he's finally gettin his speed righ, turned right behind it and picked it up as it ran along the hedge. Have to say your bryn seems like a great dog hope you have more good nights with him atb Thanks. nice and easy with your pup. When they are like last night, they can really test any dog, it would be hard on a pup. rabbits were very fast to the edge Quote Link to post

Malt 379
Nice one Bird! Two of the best nights I've had with my young dog so far have been with very small bags (3 & 4) on very heavily lamped ground with shy rabbits, the three was on a golf course where I've only ever seen a decent dog catch the odd 1 here and there.
