should make good rabbitting, ferreting, bushing dogs! think they call them worriers? i was going to get 1 of these, but the lad who bred them, bred them wrong way round, he put a whipp dog to a very small J.R bitch? resulting in the pups being about 4" high, and 3ft long? looked a bit like that dog on TOY STORY with the spring in the middle, what a clown! anyway sounds like your mate got a good 1! chris

I've got one and he does everything i need him to, lamps, bushes, ferrets and tough as old boots. I highly recommend them. Unfortunately hes laid up at the moment after nearly losing an eye to a blackthorn, he seems to be getting there though and hes got all summer to recover.

He does lack a little top end but makes up for it with acceleration and agility. He would never have made the grade as a coursing dog before the ban but he has more than enough speed for rabbits and stuff

what size is he he looks a nice type

Only 21" tts but a real power house, i dont mean heavily built just very strong for a small dog and full of fire. He came from up your way, an accidental mating from a guy on here. If he keeps going the way he is for another couple of seasons i might well use him across my bitsa bitch.
