norfolk lurcher

hi all ,, i know the norfolk lurcher is a recognised breed and i was just wondering if any body has experience with them and are they good at there job ?? replies would be appreciated ,, thanks lloyd

they are the all round pot filling mashine they will take rabbits hares deer and the odd fox i would recimend 1 i havent got 1 mysalf but ive sin them and i wouldnt mind getting 1

ive got 1 mate bred off jeff berrell and its the best lurcher ive ever had it does everything ive wanted it to do and ive took it beating aswell i thought it would of bin scared of the guns but it diddent even bother him if could get another dog the same i would buy it seconds flat atb Top Lamper

depends on digfferent things mate ie. what dogs he uses they range from 23-26 tts

Going on some old photos i have of a bitch that came off mick douglas in 1980 she was a straw couloured bitch about 25tts.IMHO i think their just a mix of deerhound beddy and collie as loads of rumours abounded in the early 80s wat was in the types from briards to old english sheep dogs golden retreivers to name but a few.atb dell

Years ago my bro' had a norfolk type bred by Mick Douglas.. She was a fanastic all rounder and would have been proud to own her myself

Not a very good photo but i think this the type you mean, in this dog is deerhound,beardie collie,bedlington,greyhound, a real bitsa of best to best to make a good all round tough coated bidable worker.

i had a norfolk lurcher cross a few years ago now and she was a great wee bitch she was only 22tts she always put 100 per cent in to everything that was 1998 when i got her i will try and look out some pics of her

saw afew norfolk type lurchers and most were in the early eighties straw coulor but nice , not saw any for years burrel is a dreamer and they are monngrels like most lurchers ,tho some are a type

ye thats the ones had one mate had a pup of him ,she turned out better than either mother or father a real good bitch,only dog local at the time thta was impressive on hares , by the time i came back from working away with agood saluk she was 10 and past her best but a good dog in her day
