Anyone approached by police

I read in another post "forum members who have been arrested, interviewed or worse; because of information obtained off this site".Is there anyone that has been contacted by the police because of what they have said on this forum?

I personally dont know anyone whow has been contacted by the police for saying anything on this forum.Yet there are all these posts saying dont say this and dont say that,dont talk about this and dont talk about that.Its getting to be the forum is getting very boring(in my opinion).Its all pictures of my dogs and out lamping last night.Which is alright occasionaly but can get very boring(in my opinion).We are not even alowed to TALK ABOUT OR SHOW THINGS THAT WERE PRE-BAN . If you have been contacted by the police because of what you said on this forum,tell us about it, surely you can tell us about it on here.Tell us what happened,and what for.I personally think all this secrecy is a bit over the top but am willing to be proved wrong.Tell us about it.

Thats whats going to destroy this forum, its getting to a stage where lads just wont talk about their hunting and who can blame them, seems that a lot of lads are looking over their shoulder, There's only so many times you can say," Nice whippet there pal", before you get f****d off with whole thing. Part of the whole lurcher show thing, is that lads can talk about their dogs deeds in the field to other lurcher men and women, Im sure forums like this may have started with those intentions ,but with the reality of the situation , its turning into something else..

used for what ,no one i have ever heard of has been charged and found guilty of any offence because they decided to write bull shit on THL ,if you know any different let us know .by the way who just wrote this ,there are 4 people in my house with axces to this computer ,let me see any one pick the right one ,end of story . People have had their homes raided, dogs, vehicles, lamps etc seized.

 

One member has told you all that he spent three months on bail - and he is not a member who normally posts the kind of crap that warrants that kind of attention.

 

Long standing members of THL will know of members who have had problems in the past, it would not be fair for me or anyone else to mention names.

 

If you want to take chances, that is up to you, but you must consider the consequences of doing so to both you and the rest of the field sports community.

 

THL members are responsible for what is on this forum, not the admin or moderators.

 

There is more to an internet forum than posts showing how big your dick is.

i honestly think they should be a private part of the forum where you can only join if you are invited by at least 3 different people that have hunted with you. so at least you can talk openly . also the 3 people that put you forward are responsible for the person they invited(just incase your not who your supposed to be ) make people think about who they invite , also have the forum rooms that only allow say 20 posts to every topic and for every post on the topic after 20 the first gets deleted and so on , with a full delete every 24 hours from the topic started. that way you can speak openly but not get owt held against you from mths down the line that you may have said.

its the police that are taking the chances ,you should all read up on the way the law works ,then play them at their own game ,put the boot on the other foot and have them done for wrong full arrest and arresment for no reason other than words on a screen that could have been writen by any one ,then again most would confess to writing it because they seem to be very nieve on here,

All i can say if you don't like how this place is moderated go and make you're own forum and do whatever you like and post whatever you like ...that way you'll have nothing to moan about ...i mean there's lots of free forum sofware out there ..you can make it as private or as public as you wish ...just remember its not the people or guests viewing this you should be worried about its the people you can't see watching that you should be worried about ...hackers legal and illegal will be into your server before you can say hello and welcome to "Look how big my dick is" feel free to post all your illegal activities on here we don't give a sh1t about the law ...and then lets see how you get on
