Would you use this dog

I have a 3/4 collie whippet dog 4 years old 20 tts, very good lamp dog. My dad has a 4 year old ped whippet bitch 18tts and he's asked me to line it with mine and we would both be keeping a pup. The problem i've got is that his whippet is not a working dog and the pups would be a bit on the small side. What are your opinions on this?

Just outside newcastle. Does the fact of the bitch not being a working dog not concern you, could these still make good dogs?

should make belter larl dogs my mate had one that will of been same breeding and it was the best rabbet dog i have seen untill this day but the dog past a way a year or 2 ago R.I.P JET. The dog also seen bigger quarry and made easy work when paired up with a bigger dog. When you breed them you will have to let us all know because alot of people will be interested in one of them

brilliant rabbit dog go for it. whippets are speed machines wether it works or not. a lot of working dogs are what they are because of nurture not nature. i could teach a pekingnese to mark sets given it young enough

Ask your self these how many people pay £200 for hancock pup out off stuff that have never worked

just because it has not worked does not mean that it can'work ffs all whippets are born to run/catch...

go and get a lineing of a decent working dog and see it work they will be small and small dogs dont catch any better thab awell balanced big dog , get agood grew 22 23 or three qaurter grew one qaurter collie , if its just for rabbits , plus if you like the silly racin you canrace it to ,not that means anything
