get them out when they are young.

every time i go ferreting my lad (will 2 1/2 years old) asks me if he can come so after weeks and weeks of him nagging i let him come we only did one warren but he loved it helped me set the nets witch i hade to set propaly but the one he did set ok got the rabbit he was buzzing. but now every morning he says dad can we go ferreting so the nagging has only got worse :wallbash: and thats me done for the year now so ive got till sept getting nagged every morning.

 

this is hin on the way in his jeep (or should i say his ferreting jeep as he now calls it)

so its not just me who likes to get them out when there young

he allready asks if he can come lamping with me. not yet tho my battary is a bit on the heavy side so ill wate till he can carry it :D :D

How quiet is his Jeep? you could just run a socket off the batteries in his jeep (I'm sure it's 12v) and hey presto he can come along and supply the Batteries at the same time!!!

 

Now you just need to work out how to fit a game carrier to his Bonnet! LOL :clapper:

My youngest Brodie had his first trip out at 18months.

Here's my eldest Dylan, the first time he went ferreting he was only 4 months and spent all of the time in his buggy,he's 15 now and out on his own.

My other son Declan isn''t into ferreting, football is his sport. He does go with his brother sometimes to give him a hand.

its very quiet and yes it is 12v. he came to the pet shop with me today and had a 15kg bag of dog food straped to it and it was still motering on a full bat it will last about 3 1/2 hours at 11 mph and about 8mph across the mud. looks like ill be taking him out lamping then in sept. :thumbs:
