lambing calls

Just wondering how many lambing calls people have been getting,we have had 3 and the culprit has been dealt with,but last night my wife took the message and its a farm that we dont hunt on i know the guys that do hunt there but for some unknown reason the farmer got my number and is requsting that i go up as soon has i can im going to take a look later this evening and then blitz the earths come the weekend,phots of yeastarday hard digging only 3 ft but full of stone

only the once have i found signs of lamb in an earth.its all game birds where i am and plenty of them and plenty of calls/request non stop to protect them.

we havent had any lambs taken here but then we shut them in at night for the first few weeks, if we had them out lambing it might be a different story esp near bog or out on the hills, foxy is only interested in my hens, lol

We've had 4 calls so far and accounted for them with the rifle but no doubt there will be more .Last year was bad with us made to look silly on new permission until we dropped on a tiny place just outside the farmers garden!We had one also last year where i retrieved a few dead lambs out the mouth of the hole before digging.

one happy farmer after that result i bet, hate shifting cubs but when the farmers loosing stock like that then it has to be dealt with,

The farmer had lost 12 up til then and i pulled seven from the earth ,most unrecognisable due to the efforts of the cubs and sand .Unavoidable this time of year .

went to the one farm that had rang me up,hour and half drive and then the fog came down back up first light...shit time of year i hate doing this especially when im asked to clean up on other peoples farms,f..wankers half of them if they were doing a proper job people like me woulndt be called up,on the good side at least it will be another new place for next year "when we get the job done"

Had a call out last weekend , more of a preventative measure as only a few lambs have arrived as of yet had a couple of digs job done , also a few game birds to protect on these places

no sheep farms around my local area surrounded by shoots though and game bird farms had lots of calls over the years for problem foxes breaking into pens this is the side the antis dont see when it affects peoples living.
