You really do need to find someone with a .22 rimfire or a .410 and 2" cartridges or silencer before you think about setting it or you could find yourself in a bit of a fix.

A friend of mine many years ago lent one of his traps to a bowling green groundsman with strict instructions to call him when a fox was caught. having heard nothing for a while he turned up to see what was going on only to be told that several foxes had been caught .

"How did you kill them ?",he asked .

The groundsman -who was apparently quite a big chap shrugged and said that he had'nt wanted to bother my mate so he strangled them !!!

let it go and hope nobodys about with a BIG LURCHER ,in america they have cage traps for foxes starting of young coyote hounds they still get away at times , FOXES Are vermin and need controled in any manner ,ask asheep farmer what he does or poultry guy they shoot them full stop
