Seeing as this thread has already got somewhat side tracked I wonder if anybody knows, does the HW57 come in two barrel lengths? There was only one on offer where I bought mine. Various people have said HW57K, mine only says HW57 near the loading gate. So is there 2 barrel lengths i.e standard and carbine or do people just assume the HW57 must have a K after it because the barrel is short anyway?

I can only find the HW57 on the HW site, no mention of 'K'

Tech details list only one barrel length.

It should be doing better than that, mate. What groups are you getting from your PCP?

If it's new, it'll take a few hundred shots before it's properly bedded in.

If your kit's all good, it could be down to you. Are you used to springers 'cos they're not so easy to shoot as PCPs. The way you hold them is the key, they need a light, consistant hold so they can recoil in their own way shot to shot otherwise your shots will be all over the gaff.

Cheers.

i used to have alot of springers but went to the darks side of pcp and didnt look back, 8 years later i decided to get a bsa lightening storm for ratting and wow.... took alot of getting used to the hold is everything like you said... i was getting 1"1/2 groups at 25m!? and thought this gun is obviously bent or summit!? no..... it was the organic soft thing holding it!! with time and patience i can now get 1/2" groups at 30 meters.....
