Irish Lurcher 1,013
Can never understand why some anglers leave rubbish on the bank , fcuks it up for other angles if the land owner takes the hump. Was out yestarday and was greeted by this site as we reached the island that we fished off. The fishing was rubbish as well, one wee pike. Quote Link to post

You burn it! This is just as bad. People having fires while bivvying. There are many lochs in scotland that have had there fishing rights stopped because of anglers having fires, I have watched many anglers ripping trees down and branches to have fire, Many even take axes with them! Therr are places on loch lomond where there are no no bushes or trees on the banking! Loch Tay is another one... It is unheard of in england, and dont think i have come across a fire on a bank on an english water. Usually the waters are owned and baliffed regularly in england, not like the scottish and irish lochs. Quote Link to post
Irish Lurcher 1,013
Happens alot over here, burning. Its just a thing that I too have done since I started Pike angling, and the lads that got me into pike angling done the same before that, its not a big thing over here, once you use the wood around you and not chop down tress then there is no problem, mind you I cant remember the last time I lit a fire.
