northernpartridge 0
Hi, We have just opened up some rides and clearings in some mature spruce woods. This is to try to make the woods warmer and allow the birds to flush from the middle of the woods. Mainly we want to make the woods warmer to encourage the birds to stay. Obviously there is a great depth of pine needles over the cleared areas. Just wondering what people would suggest we do to encourage growth - if there is anything that would grow well in such a site. We are in northern scotland. Any advice appreciated, Cheers Edited March 16, 2010 by northernpartridge Quote Link to post
