I just picked up another 800+ acres for foxing last week.....so thats 5 farms and a golf course.. must be in the region of 4000 acres.....the wife already moans like hell lol! Good luck to you. beggsybluestaff 1 Posted March 16, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 16, 2010 well me an jonny went for the meeting with the farmer and also to find the boundrys looks very promising we saw plenty of rabbits out and 3 hares only got the 3 pictures but shows you some of it plus the farmer gave me the number to the two neighbours who have hundreds of acres apparently all my new permission and the neighbours have never been used for rabbiting only shotguns for pigeon Quote Link to post

dave1372 83 Posted March 17, 2010 Report Share Posted March 17, 2010 Don't know if you already know this already, if you want to get more permission then try seeing what farms are local to you that have started lambing. Farmers often have problems with crows going for lambs and pecking at their eyes, so maybe now is a good time to approach them as you have a good reason. It won't be long now until the young crows start hatching/appearing (depends what part of the country you are from - up here it is then end of April'ish) excellent airgun practice. The young always stay close to the nests until they are a bit stronger. Hope this helps. Quote Link to post
