Trigger 26
i think it would vary from person to person depending on your past history with the law. Edited March 16, 2010 by Trigger Quote Link to post
poacher3161 1,766
Wat should be more of a concern especially to young hunters is wat goes on your criminal record as i know poaching offences are classed as theft and are detremental in securing a job of trust its one of the reasons i have missed out on jobs Quote Link to post

wrowmon 1
it's hard to know what would happen as i hope never to be in that situation, regarding the dog's on lead bit that someone posted where i walk my dogs there are signs everywhere that state dogs on lead at all time however loads of people ignore them at let thier dogs run wild disturbing all sorts of game including hares however these people never get done,is it legal for a non lurcher,g hound ,whippet type dog to chase a hare or are we as people who hunt shoot whatever guilty just because we own a running dog..maybe if when walking your dogs you see old mrs smiths mutt chasing a hare call the police and see what happens a few cases of an old bid let off because her dog chases something might help others..just my thought regarding this Quote Link to post
romany52 313
Everybody uses words or sounds of encouragement when the dogs on,It may be worth shouting " oi leave it you b*****d " to gee him up, instead of "go on then" Quote Link to post

romany52 313
In my younger days, I was getting grief off a keeper,so I went on everyday, to walk the footpaths with the running dogs. He had the police out to me 5 days on the trot, but from then on whenever he saw me from a distance, he would come tearing over, till he could see it was me, then just turn round and piss off. I took that to mean I had permission Edited March 16, 2010 by romany52 Quote Link to post
cooper101 86
Do you not think that in the eyes of the law we as owners of running dogs with the ability to catch wild game have as much resposability as a bull terrier owners to keep there dogs under control to prevent accidents!!!
