First Fox with new Tikka 223

Out last night for a few hours with Tikka T3 off here, he's a good boy and wanted to get me my first fox with my new Tikka Super Varmint 223, I missed my first effort not this one though a nice little Vixen at way over 200 yards

When I bought the gun I had 60 Hornady 55 grainers with it so I've been using them up but will then be getting some Norma 40 grainers. DAVE

Hi mate yes was cool to get one with the 223 Lol, nice sound Lol, I've shot a few foxes but never with a 223 so was a bit diffrent DAVE

he missed the first sitter about 150 yrds

he had the second and he was too slow on the third obviously jesse james aint related to young dave

What twist Rate is that one...1-8 or 1-12, I wouldn't invest in too many of those 40g until you try them!!

Nothing, but the 1:8 is a bit fast for them. Since you've got the 1:12 I expect they will be fine - used to shoot them myself and very good, for factory ammo.

Tikka T3 needed a rail and is far too tight to buy one so I gave him mine, i had already ordered the Optilock mounts DAVE

too tight am i ,same old story your so tight you squeak while you walk ,no need for a fox call while your out .

that rail is the only thing you have ever given me .

oh by the way stuart wants to know about the powder etc give him a bell mate .

when you get five give me a bell and we will get out after them again .

sorry about telling all the folk on here that you are a poor shot lol!!!
