Guest SJM
My bitch broke a toe at the start of the year the mag box was invaluable in speeding up the recovery time, its set well and shes had a couple of runs since and all seems well so far. Get yourself to a good running dog or greyhound vet for a second opinion and see what they say about it. Quote Link to post

lofti 579
one of mine broke her front right outside toe at the begining of december she had weekly visits to my vet and total rest for 10 wks then only light exersise for two weeks. she had a good proper run about a week ago and retreved a shot hare for me. you need to see a diffrent vet in my opinion mate. snap 15
get the vet to cut the nail right back to release the pressure in the toe and tape or bandage the toe in the correct position so the brake heals right.rest and lead walking until next season , the more rest the better. i done this with my bitch last year and shes just run this season without any problems with the toe. get some bone radial aswell.
