Queequeg 0
Hi Everyone, After recently aquiring a HW80K rifle I've been looking at stripping it down replacing parts and tidying the whole rifle up. Does anyone know of a good guide available that takes me through through step by step a bit like a Haynes manual but for Weihrauchs. The barrell is rusty and the stock has split. The safety is rusted into the gun so is permantly off (at least it's not on). And is it worth fitting a silencer on it? as people have said before not to bother. Any Advice appreciated Thanks Quote Link to post
JackReid 35
Hello mate cant help with the guide to taking apart but with regard to silencing, Ihave a 95k and the silencer that came with it is a real good weirauch one and the diffeence between it on and off is amazing, However you need to judge whether you think the main noise is the spring etc or whether its muzzle noise. I can imagine its hard to judge to be honest. Main issue is getting a strip down manual. Try searches on google see if anyone has done the same? Youtube video? If theres any chance of you getting one it will be with the HW80 as its been around for ages and owned by alot of people. Best of luck mate Jack Quote Link to post
ArchieHood 3,692
Apart from sending Weihrauch an email asking for the manual I don't think you'll find very much, however seeing im in a good mood and i like your EBT I will offer you this link ...........http://rnpk-dvs.blogspot.com/2008/10/weihrauch-hw80-stripdown.html Quote Link to post

Edgar 1
If you do strip it be carefull its not over the limit when you put it back together. HW80s were meant to run at 18-20 ft/lb and can creep up easily. Quote Link to post
