Somebody Should!!!!

Recommended Posts

Just like myself when i first registered on hunting life i had questions about breeds of lurchers.

Somebody Should do up a page with a list of the different types of lurcher breeds and their strengths and their weaknesses.

It would have to be done by someone neutral who wasn't one track minded towards a certain breed.

That way when newbies log on they can go direct to the page and find out everything about the breeds.

A LURCHER COMES TO MIND AND WELL WHY EDUCATE THE UNEDUCATED FOR FREE AT TIMES LET THEM LEARN AS WE DONE WITHOUT COMPS ETC

Whats the whole purpose of the web site then to keep all your knowledge to yourself.

I have received some good advice from this site and i think it should be kept like that.

i don't think you can generalise like that with lurchers bud

Sure you could, bull and hound wouldn't have the same pace as a whippet and a whippet wouldn't be as tuff as a bull hound so on and so on.

it dont work like that ,all dogs take bumps some take them in their stride and others dont \never mind the breed ,same goes for speed in dogs ,every one is different .

i think youve just answered youre own question there really, so youre saying every whippet is faster than every bullx and every bullx is gamer than every whippet??? i dont think so!! every dog is diferent. even litter mates! no select breed can be generalized like this never mind crossbred dogs. to do with height size upbringing entering and many other things ;)
