witton 6
I went lamping again last night just the dog and me. On the way I got stopped by a van full of local gypsy’s trying to nick my dog, after 40minuits of arguing with them I finally got away They stop me every time they see me with the dog Anyway I carried on to the first field and made a start. I only got 4 runs all night and she caught 2 so not bad really. After the last catch I decided to head home as it was about 1am and I had college in the morning. I took this pic earlier after I gutted them out. She is improving each time I take her out but still needs a lot of work on her recall. David Quote Link to post
amd50 0
Very nice little dog mate and Jake Bull X is right, keep the dog well locked up, because they have no scruples to be fair as you were on your own, I'm a bit surprised you didn't lose the dog and get a twatting for your troubles, it happened to a lad I know who's a good bit older and bigger than you :realmad: Take care mate when you're out on your own :thumbs-up: Quote Link to post

Guest La_Femme_Pires
Just to reinforce wha has been said about the travellers, seriously they will not be stopped by secure fencing. Please be extra careful. You only need to take a look at dog lost to see just how many lurchers are stolen from secure back gardens. They are bloody persistant b*****ds! She is a nice looking bitch!! Guest oldskool
if it all possible mate you should stick to the fields and stay off the road... when i set out, i cross the road into the fields and my feet dont touch tar again until i'm infront of the house... i've never been stopped by gypsys but usually by cops or a bunny hugger is sure to pass some snide remark if i'm carrying somethin... lampdog 0
nice catch mate and a nice looking dog, as for gippo`s i f8cking hate them, hitler had the right idea when he stuck `em in the camps, theiving bastar*s they`ll slit your throat for a fiver i couldn`t possibly express how i really feel about the w*nkers or i`ll probably get kicked of here but if it happens again memorise the number plate and get the police to sort the c*nts out that`s if the filfth have the bottle that`s why the pikeys get away with so mutch they seem to be above the law. Guest JOEB
I wonder how long it will take before the innocent travelling folk start posting on this thread with requests to fight anyone who sullyed there good name :11: JOEB Quote Link to post

Guest Frank
Prehaps i have been a wee bit racist, as not all travelling folk are like that, as i have come across few good dog men in my time and they have been honest as my mother( :11: ) . Its the few bad apples that give them a bad name, like with most things. Frank. Quote Link to post
Vermin Dropper 2
The thing is it's not the travellers as such it's the Fu***ng Pikeys (Tinkers, Knackers etc) I Fu***ng hate Pikeys! Nice little dog David, Quote Link to post

It is however the ones that go around theiving dogs and then dumping them etc that give all of them a bad name! My lurcher still bears the scars of his time with travellers, even if they aren't visible... Quote Link to post
Guest alastair
reminds me of a story my mate told me ,he was doing a boot fair (pikeys day out) to get rid of a few things, and borrowed a friends trailer to lug the gear there.a few pikeys come over,''how much for d trailer boy''? its not for sale my mate replied,no boy 'how much''?,it aint for sale, etc etc ,in the end my mate got pissed off and just shouted''75 quid, the pikeys storm off shouting ''your asking to much boy''.
