My dogs are far from great, nowhere near perfect and polar opposite to world beaters..

Ill be the first to admit that, and i dont even know 1/10th of what there is to know in this game.

Its a term used by peddlers and moneymakers who use their dogs to compensate on internet forums for there unusually small dicks.

Dont listen to it mate, people who let their dogs speak for themselves and keep themselves quiet uually have the gold.

Very true. Everything is based on opinion and the original post was - what is your opinion on what age to start a young dog. If his method works then fair play, but we will have to take his word for that.

That says it all, what is it you are trying to prove by running a puppy on rabbits.

 

Up untill 10-12 months old all a running dog should be doing is training, socialising, getting used to its senses and growing up fit and healthy.

 

But i am sure you know all this, and judging by your attitude in your response you will give me a brief, poorly spelled lecture on how much of a wanker i am

Last summer i was walking through a local dog walking hot spot with my pups and herd a woman screaming. When i saw her she had a whippet running round her feet with a bunny in its mouth. I asked her if she was ok and she replyed please can you get my dog off that rabbit, i laughed and asked how old it was and she said "he's just six months"! I took the rabbit and dispached it and i did she turned around so not to see how i did it. The lady went on to tell me he keeps catching them and running back to her with them still alive so in turn i said do you think you'v picked the right breed for a pet ? she replyed "well i didnt think for a minute that if i just got one as a pet that it would start doing this". I had a quick giggle and went on my way with the rabbit her 6 month old pup had cought. Its in the blood in my eyes and when the pups ready, its ready.

I wonder if the past 9 pages of handbag swinging was of any help to the lad who originally posted? As far as i am aware he asked about whippets? And a lot of people have just taken it as a chance to say how great their dogs (which aint whippets) are? There were some good posts at first and then it just degenerated into 'my ways the best way', 'your a moron', 'my dogs a world beater' etc

 

So many folk on this site make themselves look like proper tits!
