Sounds like it could be a cauliflower ear (a burst blood vessel). If so it needs to be operated on by a vet to remove it otherwise your dog will have a seriously deformed ear for life. The vet will cut the ear open, remove the clot and then stitch it in such a way that it cannot reform before it is healed.
