Crow decoys... Are they any good?

Recommended Posts

I use about 30+ crows, nothing special about them, the pattern is always important but the hide is number 1.

always leave spaces in the decoys for them to land into and add the shot birds to increase the size

of the pattern.I always use a call because this sometimes turns the birds into the pattern

plus a battery operated flapper because you need movement to bring them in from distance.

Myself and Lewdan usually account for around a 1000 birds a season which starts from

spring planting to stubble in October.

Hope this helps.

only if electronic, a blown call is perfectly legal.
