rizla1 122
get the flocked coated ones they are little more exspensive than the plastic coated ones but look better, they can be very afective in the right places Quote Link to post
Leicester hunter 0
never tried an off the shelf deek, but usually shoot 1 when decoying for woodies, and after putting it out does attract a lot of crows! I usually set up any shot crows just to the side of my main woody pattern. Quote Link to post
morgan the moon 0
I use about 30+ crows, nothing special about them, the pattern is always important but the hide is number 1. always leave spaces in the decoys for them to land into and add the shot birds to increase the size of the pattern.I always use a call because this sometimes turns the birds into the pattern plus a battery operated flapper because you need movement to bring them in from distance. Myself and Lewdan usually account for around a 1000 birds a season which starts from spring planting to stubble in October. Hope this helps. Quote Link to post

Isnt this illegal? only if electronic, a blown call is perfectly legal. Quote Link to post
