Lightweight 177

Hi everyone, I am looking for a lightweight 177 for stalking around the £200 mark(second hand or new). I know there are a lot on the market so some advice and feedback would be greatly recieved.

Hi, Id go for a weihrauch if I was you. You can either get a new one. The HW 57 AND 99 are both around 200 quid new. Or you can buy a second hand one in good order for under 200 quid.

if you want lightweight i would steer away from weihrauch theyre built like tanks i love them but they are heafty. is it a springer youre after or a pcp? you can pick up s200's for around £220 same as bsa ultras these are both very lightweight and good guns but pcp. if its springers youre after id suggest a bsa supersport, theyre very light and reliable. thats the only light springer ive ever had all the rest have been weihrauchs

Not always. The HW 57 AND 99 are fairly light weight. As is the HW50.

Thanks for the replys, I have justed picked up a Cometa 400 177 new but ex display cheap!! don't know if its a good move or know!!! lol Has got afew dinks on the stock but fires very well

the first fifle i shot with was a webley and scott jaguar its the lightest 177 i ever touched and if you can get one of the older ones i think their lighter than the new ones. its not the most powerfull thing in the world but itll still nock of a rabit at 50 yrds
