Gaoler 83
Hello All, Still have not decided on my new rifle. I have narrowed it down again to the Wierhauch HW100S or the Daystate Huntsman Classic, looking for advice on both rifles please. What are they like for accuracy and how quiete are they both ? I have been told that Daystate after sales is second to none as Wierhauch is not as good ! What about quality ? It will be .22. Any advice welcome. Thanks John... Quote Link to post

Hi John, You're picking two of the best rifles on the market. I didn't know about the difference in after sales, so thanks for that. I know the cylinder on the 100 is removable, so that may be of some benefit when out in the field - if you get through that much ammo! But the differences, i think, are minor; it's down to personal preferences and taste. Though, the 100 seems to be more popular, i think quite a few lads on here use them too - gotta be for a reason for that Quote Link to post
ferretville 69
Both good guns mate try shouldering both or even better firing them. I`ve got a 100 and i don`t think i have come across a quieter gun . Daystate after sales are good but when i had a bit bother with my 100 weirhauch were good Quote Link to post

I have a HW100 carbine in .177, it's brilliant, I mostly shoot centrefire so it is a real pleasure to shoot something that doesn't 'bite'. The only critisism I could make of the carbine version is that the air cylinder is so small (short) that the air only lasts about 20 shots in the 'green' zone of the pressure gauge. But other than that the Rats in my back garden live in fear of the 'German' sniper in the kitchen! Also for reference Crossman Accupels do the 'Biz. AndyF Quote Link to post
