ruggers13 268 Posted March 4, 2014 Report Share Posted March 4, 2014 hi im ruggers (shane) i used to go out lamping with the lads when i was a teenager but in general im new to hunting im trying snaring and ferreting i wondered if anyone could help with a spring snare how big does the noose need to be ive read alot but there ar so many different answers on tge internet ive tried small loops medium but tyen i read that they nee to be bigger all comments woukd be appreciated cheers Link to post Share on other sites
kevi 17 Posted March 5, 2014 Report Share Posted March 5, 2014 G'Day Rob I'am also in Oz Victoria . spin up my snares using an old hand grinder (wheel taken off & a replaced with a hook) 3 strands of brass doubled in half ,on to hook 6 turns of grinder ,perfect snare.
