Thinking about this man today ,he is /was my hero was one of the lads and a true gent his articles on ferreting and fishing molded a generation his one page spread in the shooting times were fantastic to read whats the chance of getting hold of them and putting them on here

did,nt no about the book thats my birthday sorted ,when we used to make our own lamps it was fred who suggested using a dimmer bulb so you got the most out of your land ,later on in the season id say it works top man

A true country man i remember as a young lad [bANNED TEXT] purchaseing the shooting times his page i would read first along with jack ivester lyod.A good book by Fred J is country hearts he also gets mentioned alot in fred bullers the pike and the pike angler a classic informative book.

At £60 + for a first edition the books are not cheap! I have a signed first edition here and an unsigned edition, but I used to collect shooting books and a lot of first editions and a few signed editions from various writers.
