Wheaton Crosses

A mate of mine may be interested in gettin a wheaton cross(probly a 3/4greyhound 1/4 wheaton)bitch .I was just wondering what sort of sizes they would make , and what are your views of them as a all round lurcher?

Hi mate I've got a 3/4grey1/4wheaten she's 23 inch to the shoulder but very strong. She is very determined,head strong at times and has guts! stamina not great, is only 18months so yet to test all her capabilities but i'm happy with how she's shaping up! she is actually quite obedient and relatively easy to train (picks things up quick) unfortunately I got her at 11months and she hadn't doen much I'd like to think if I'd had her from a pup she'd hold her own obedience wise by now, lets just see what the next six months bring!! She can be quite firey(possesive) but as an genuine hunter with plenty of drive she's hard to beat for a yound (green) dog! Hope that helps.

my 1/2bred bitch is 24 1/2 inch & my dog is just over 27 inch and they are both game,run alnight and work with terriers spot on ,will give you 100 % each time out ,take big and small game what more could you ask from a lurcher.
