No coz I ain't got it anymore  gave it up bout 9 months ago coz the mrs was having a bad pregnancy and I needed to be at home. One of the worst decisions I've ever made what a great escape it was and really regret it now the bain is here and theres no probs.

The shed I had was bout 5' x 7'- 8' and a tool store at the side. Inside was a radio, kettle freeview/carboot telly, 1kw gen, comfy armchair and beer used to ave wine on the go aswell  the allotment was 400square meters (2 x 2 hundred sqm pitches private not council and cost 100 for the year. Should never have passed it on

EDITED

It also had a wood stove

all info on growing can either be found online or in books I got one called the guide to British allotments or something simillar and it has everything in there from spuds to celeriac.

Wish I'd never got rid craig but everything is so simple and clear with hindsight

Growing your own stuff is brilliant and for me growing stuff is the same deal as fishing and shooting.........it links us a little bit to the past.....a little bit hunter....a little bit gatherer......a little bit farmer / gardener....and a little bit brewer.......to compensate for being a lot of ....... Tesco Shopper....

My allottment is the back garden, and the shed is the house

You can get the basic info you need on sowing times on the back of the seed packets. But if you start with pretty bombproof stuff like carrots, parsnip and beetroot, you can sow that as soon as the ground starts warming up in spring. I aim to get these in by the end of March, but if it's a late season don't fret if they're not in bu late April. They'll catch up.

If you haven't a greenhouse then onion setts are better than seed, though you can sow salad onions in batches, along with lettuce.

French beans are dead easy. Sow and forget, until they sprout when it's out with the slug pellets and cotton to keep slugs and birds at bay.

If you're going to grow spuds, stick to expensive to buy ones like Pink Fir Apple, a superb salad potato.

The taste of stuff that was growing an hour before you eat it is superb. Making beetroot chutney with beetroot and onions you grew yourself is very satisfying too.
