Lost Lurcher and Spaniel x

I have lost my lurcher and spaniel x from my kennels in hertfordshire, I do not want to say exactly where as I am very protective about where I keep my dogs, but its in the Stevenage area, My 6 year old lurcher dog cream in colour short hair about 26-27 inches and a black and white spaniel x jack russel, she looks like a small spaniel who is 9 years, both are micro chipped.

 

Last night about 9-30pm I went to feed my dogs as usual and let the 2 out to have a pee etc and put there food in there kennel, when i called them to come and eat they did not come back and that was it I have not seen them since.

 

I keep them in a semi rural location and there is a lot of game all around so my thoughts are they have gone after something and then got lost, i searched for over 3 hours last night and also all day today, both dogs are obediant and this has never happened before and is completely out of character for them, I know that if left to there own devices they will hunt/catch what ever they can but I still dont understand why they have not come back??

 

I have done the usual and contacted all farmers, game keepers, vets, dog warden, police etc

 

so if you are in the hertfordshire area and do see a lurcher and spaniel wondering about or here of someone who has found one or trying to sell one please PM me

i dont want to upset you but go down the path of them being stolen as there is alot of dogs stolen in oxfordshire and hertfordshire.. We are having alot of trouble in the area from the A34 across to the M1/A1

Still no sign of the dogs, I know Snatch is going looking tonight again with the lamp.

Gutted for him, I don't personally think they were nicked from where they were unless someone has picked them up on their way back, as he says there is a lot of game around and the spaniel loves to hunt, hopefully they have got lost coursing something and will make ther way back soon, good luck mate.

that is the spaniel cheers tim and clipper, I will try and post a picture of lurcher tomorrow, been out again tonight and seen everything but my dogs!!!! if I had them with me could have had untold runs on everything!
