bsa tactical or webely oxcet

Recommended Posts

Hi, mate.

I have both a Lighting and an Xocet. The only thing the BSA has going for it is it's small size, the Webley is a better gun in every other way. Trigger, build quality, the way it shoots, accuracy, the lot really.

Cheers.

I've an HW90 at the moment (11 years), love it! Over the years I've owned 35, 80, 77 (.177 and .22) and a lovely little 55 that I think is a very over looked gun. They've all been top class.

Webley in recent years have really got their act together and make springer's that are at least as good as the rest for the price. I've fitted a gas-ram to my Xocet and it really does shoot very well for a springer. It's not as good as the 90 but at nearly half the price, it's not too far off.

At least Webley springer's are still made in the UK, not like BSA (shame on them!!)

Cheers.

yea they are but the Xocet was made in birmingham! real british rifle, shoots like a dream!

Mine didn't, it was awful! Barrel was slack and pointed up in the air, power was low accuracy was all over the place. Its a shame because it looked lovely and everyone else says they are great so I must have been unlucky.
